Shopping on Yesstyle (review)

Thought I would review something that I ordered online.  And , yes its a korean product and since this is my first "product review" (thats not kpop CD) maybe I will consider doing more? so yay~

Anywway, I was in search of a new backpack, since my old one was still good, but sadly deteriorating a little...  I wanted a simple backpack, something that wasn't bulky and I could wear without looking like I was going hiking.

I came across this bag, from yesstyle.  It is a Mr.ace Homme, plain backpack and comes in an assortment of colors: Red, blue, purple, gray, and dark gray.  I chose dark gray, but it looks more like a dark blue?_? I didn't complain, it was my bag. mine. Plus I still like it.  It was around $30, and I wanted to treat myself... which is something I often do.

Here is the package in all it's glory.  It was pretty stuffed in there, the bag was folded in half, so it looked a lot smaller than it actually was.

And I just LOVE unwrapping shit... its like Christmas without the pretty paper. Plus... bubble wrap! ^^

FRONT

BACK
I was pretty satisfied by how clean and neat it looked (not minding those wrinkles).  The zippers were made from like a leathery material, but it feels a little flimsy and possibly breakable?  I just gently pull the zippers whenever I use them because it did break on me once, and I had to put it back with pliers.

The thin zippers... leather? idk...
YAY FREE STUFF
And of course, Korean products always come with a free thingymajig.  I got this Paul Frank passport holder... I don't have a passport... but free stuff bruh :D
Lastly, the most important question: Will it fit my laptop?

and the answer is YES MAAM/SIR.  There is a stretchy velcro strap that goes over the top of the laptop, but I found it kind of hard to pull over and so i don't really use it.  I guess if you have a smaller laptop (mine is a 13" macbook pro)  then you might find the velcro strap more useful. But i find that it still holds well without the strap.

So, that was my first official product review! I hope it helps for those thinking of shopping on Yesstyle.  It was an experience.  When I have time to shop more, I would consider buying from them again since they ship for free with $25 or more! (I'm a sucker for free shipping)  and it came within a reasonable amount of time.

CNBLUE "Present: Japan Best Album" Review

Sooo, I bought this album actually a while ago while christmas shopping (learn to treat yo self bruh).  With so much happening I didn't have time to write this review, but anywho, CNBLUE's "PRESENT" album was actually released in 2013.  I LOVE their music and HAD TO buy it, and this one does not dissapoint.  I've been a HUGE fan since Yonghwa in "You're Beautiful" and "Heartstrings" his voice *_* plus he's a talented song writer!  (And who isn't excited about his solo debut?)

Okay enough fangirling.
I am never let down by Kpop albums.  This one came in a simple brown box with gold lettering, very clean and has almost a classic vintage feel.  Included are the photo book of the members looking so smolder-y (Chelby's favorite page is the pic with Jungshin and a corgi! A. CORGI.).  Theres also sheet music of Blind Love and Lady which is cool because you can actually learn the song! (too bad I don't play an instrument :c but it's still cool that they included that)  My favorite songs from this album are Blind Love, Greedy Man, and Let Me Know.  This band is so talented and i love how the songs range from full on Rock like Come On and a calm ballad type of song like My Miracle.  Almost everyone with a soul can find a song that's atleast a little bit catchy.  **oh and I got Jonghyun's photocard :3

WINNER - 2014 S/S (Launching Edition) REVIEW

I got this awesome album for Christmas from my cousin (Thank you pkimhi!) I only recently got in to WINNER when they released their song "Empty". I did not watch "WIN: Who is next?" yet (except the episode with the JYP trainees lol :3) but I will eventually. I just really admire WINNER after doing some research on each member. I especially admire Seungyoon and Mino ^^. I am a sucker for composers who can play guitar and composers who can write their rap lyrics. But don't get me wrong, I like all the members xD. Anyway back to the album. The album is really good, I like it so far. Although I only listened to the entire album twice :P My favorite song from the album is probably "Don't Flirt". It just has a good beat, catchy, and a bit different from most typical K-pop songs. I was also REALLY happy to get a Seungyoon photocard! Seungyoon is basically my bias so I consider this a really lucky album lols. As for the photobook in the album, it is AMAZING! Who ever designed each page did a really good job because it really looks like a photobook for a photoshoot! The choice of font was absolutely perfect, the pictures fit in very well, and the overall concept really works! And the best thing was that the photobook was completely in English so I could actually understand :D. The album also came with a poster that I have yet to put up :3. Overall, I LOVE this album and I LOVE WINNER! I think I am pretty YG bias now lol xD.

MWAVE Lucky Bag Unboxing REVIEW

I ordered this "Lucky Bag" from mwave on November 14th and payed $14.99 for it. It was then shipped out on December 4th (Korean time). And finally, it arrived on January 9th (U.S. time). Basically, I waited about 2 months for this and I was pretty annoyed that I had to wait that long. In the past when I ordered from mwave, it took about 2 weeks to arrive after it was shipped. So I was worried that I lost my box since it took so long. I guess it took awhile because of the holiday season. So as I was patiently waiting for my box, I was checking out the lucky bag forum on the mwave site to see what everyone else was receiving in their lucky bag. I was REALLY hoping that I would be lucky enough to get some signed albums. But with my shitty luck, I had a feeling I was going to get OKCAT stuff. Okay fine, the tumbler and lap blanket isn't shitty. It's just that I preferred getting albums. But on the bright side, I decided to give my tumbler (which is Version A I think?) to my cousin. (Merry late Christmas pkimhi LOL!) And I am going to keep my blanket because as soon as I opened the blanket up, my dog lied on it and rolled all over it. It's basically hers now xD. All in all, I probably will not be ordering from mwave for awhile just because it took so long to get to me. Maybe I'll give in this year and buy another lucky bag (it depends whether I have money or not). But for now, I am just satisfied that my box came and I can stop worrying.

Also, here is my unboxing video ^^! It's really short though...

Epik High - Shoebox: Volume 8 REVIEW

I bought this album from mwave for about $22.99 I think. But I had to wait about 2 months until it arrived. Although this album cost a little bit more than I would usually spend, it was totally worth it. As soon as this album was released I just adored it immediately! The packaging was nicely made and all the songs bring an instant eargasm. Wonderful music to my ears ^^! I can't even pick what my favorite song is because all the songs are the album are that good! And it's not like all the songs sound similar, each song has has a unique sound. They also collaborated with the right people. Idk how to explain it, you just have to listen to this album for yourself ^^. I've been a fan of Epik High since I heard their song "Fly" but this is my first album from them. I am debating to buy some of their older albums now xD. I don't know why I like Korean rap when I don't even understand Korean honestly :P. But the good thing about this album is that it comes with a lyrics book. The lyrics are both in Korean AND English. I'll have to read through all the lyrics when I have time now. As for the physical album packaging, it's REALLY pretty! It's really simple with just four colors: light blue, pink, white, and brown but I think that is what makes it pretty. This album makes me feel like a Hipster LOL! It also came with a commentary disc that I have yet to listen to and 2 small posters. One poster is of a sketch of a ballerina with Korean written in the back (I have no idea what it says). And the other poster is a a double sided picture of Epik High themselves. I want to put the posters up but idk if I should :\. Overall, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this album! (see what I did there xD?) I recommend this album to anyone who admires and likes Korean hip hop music. This album is kind of like Indie-Hip-Hop if that is even a thing...

EXO-K Nature Republic Cleansing Soap Set REVIEW

I received this set as a late Christmas gift from my friend. My friend intentionally bought this for me as a gag gift because she just doesn't understand why I like K-pop and Korean stuff so much -___-. Little did she know just how happy I was to get this lol. I think this set costs about $50.00 in store. But I think it was on sale during the Holiday season. Even though I really like EXO, I never really thought of purchasing this set for myself. One, because I don't really use cleansing soap bars and two, because it was just a bit expensive. So this was quite a surprising gift. What made this set more surprising was that it came with a set of EXO-K postcards! ^____^ I don't really collect K-pop  photocards but maybe I will now :D. The soaps smell REALLY good! There are 6 soaps in 6 different scents which is Lavender, Peach, Acasia, Cherry Blossom, Apple Mango, and Green Tea. I personally like the Cherry Blossom because that happens to be my favorite flower and maybe because Chanyeol was packaged on the soap haha :3. I don't plan on getting the EXO-M set. The soap is all the same, and it just comes with the EXO-M postcards and packaging. Overall, if you like Nature Republic and EXO as much as I do, I recommend you get this set ^^.
